I shall be returning to the Welsh Occult Conference next year – Saturday 16th May 2026, where I shall be presenting a piece on Scrying. This will be held in Welshpool, a different venue to this year’s conference, but it does have the benefit of being closer to public transport for those eager to get there.
Needless to say, I shall post more details about the event as soon as I get them myself.

Following my most recent post, I can now let you know that tickets for The Welsh Occult Conference 2025 – at which I will be one of the speakers – are now on sale via EventBrite.
The event is £60 at Gregynog Hall in Montgomeryshire Wales. There is accommodation available there but you would have to book this separately. The speakers are:

Happy Equinox to you all. I’ve had some exciting new developments in my career recently, so I thought I’d better update you all.
First of all, save this date: SATURDAY 27TH MAY 2025. I shall be appearing at the Welsh Occult Conference 2025, alongside other illustrious speakers such as Stephen Skinner, Sue Ward, Geraldine Beskin, and more. Hell, when I saw the list of speakers, I thought I would have paid to go myself even if I hadn’t been invited!
This will take place at Gregynog Hall, near Newtown, in Montgomeryshire, Wales (nearest airport: Birmingham International). More details will be available from the organisers’ Facebook page, although obviously I will be posting all relevant updates on this website as well.
Secondly, I have been busy writing new material. Over the summer I had enough time off from other work to be able to write a whole screenplay, which will be a futuristic paranormal thriller set in a world where astral projection is regarded as cutting-edge science. Happy new year everyone! I am currently in the middle of writing a new novel, which I expect to be finished this year. It will be a thriller, part supernatural, but also part conspiracy. The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage
What can one do when you are forced to stay at home for at least six months due to COVID 19? For some people it means investing in ZOOM, Netflix, drinking wine from 9am in the morning, etc. I however am taking the opportunity to fulfil a long ambition, and actually do the Abramelin operation.
I started it the day after Easter, as one is supposed to, This will be an ongoing thing for the next six months, i.e. until the middle of October.
In the meantime, it occurs to me that one of the details of the original Abramelin operation was that Abraham the Jew donated “ten golden florins” to initially receive the Sacred Magic – this Abramelin donated to those in need. I have often thought that this is an important part of the challenge undertaken by the aspirant.
In order to accomplish this in modern times, I therefore intend to do a “sponsored Abramelin operation” – all funds raised will go straight to a UK based charity which helps poor and vulnerable families during the COVID 19 Pandemic.
