I do not like the result of the American Presidential election. Not just because I don’t like Donald Trump, but because I had predicted Hillary for the win!
My calculations were based on which of the two candidates would have been best able to deal with the astrological influences affecting America at the time of the election. I believed – and I still do believe – that that person was Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, the American electorate decided to disregard astrological advice and disagreed with me.* Now I could be churlish and say what do you expect from a country that ratified its foundational document during a Mercury Retrograde, but I won’t. So I was wrong… or was I?
Fact is: if it turns out Donald Trump makes a disaster of his term, such that large numbers of his supporters soon realise: “Oh crap! We elected the wrong person!” I will be able to point to my astrological charts and say “I told you so.” I may be hiding in a nuclear bunker at the time with no internet access, but it will at least be some consolation.
* I wrote this before finding out that Clinton actually polled more votes than Trump, but because of the Electoral College system, the result was gerrymandered against Clinton and in Trump’s favour. Ah well.
