Do you actually believe demons you summon are real? (Reddit)

Do you actually believe demons you summon are real?
I’m asking because i see a lot of people that are into occult, that they don’t actually believe they summon entities, but rather its just a coping mechanism for them to find a actual guide what to do in their life. So do you actually believe in what you summon, or are ya all atheists just doing it to find a kind of “lifestyle” or what? Sorry for my bad English, its not my first language.

My answer:

If you treat demons as real, the universe behaves as if they are real – which is a philosophically valid justification for positing (nb: not believing), that they are in fact actually real. I have done enough sorcery in my life to have proved this for myself.
