You are now able to enjoy browsing solascendans.com without having to put up with annoying adverts! Apart, obviously, from shameless plugs for my own books, that is – that ought to go without saying.
Seriously though, I have taken the plunge to pimp my website and pay WordPress not to put unrelated adverts on my blog. This has little to do with any clever business acumen on my part, but more to do with the fact that I can hardly expect my visitors to enjoy these ads if I do not enjoy them myself.

2012 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 28,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 6 Film Festivals

Where to market your ebook part 2
This is a follow-up to my last post. Just to demonstrate that I am prepared to put my money where my mouth is, I have now translated my About page (see the Alex Sumner link in the navigation bar) – which, coincidentally, is where you can find links to buying my books either in print or as ebooks, plug, plug – into five extra languages, to reflect the linguae francae of the non-Anglophone countries on my top ten list. To wit: German, French, Dutch, Spanish and Italian.
Unfortunately Filipino is not among them, as I fancy my proof-reading skills in Asian languages even less than I do in European ones!

Major New Website Update
You now have the chance to look at not just one but two new pages on my website – both of which represent some of the magical work I have been doing over the past year or so.
Firstly, there is the latest instalment in my series on skrying with the Enochian being EHNB. This being quite involved, I felt it needed a page of its own – which I have entitled Cosmic Alchemy. The reason I did not publish it sooner was because this update involved me doing some extra magical work which, due to an electional chart I drew up, I could only accomplish last weekend.
Secondly, there is a piece which represents my first tentative thoughts on a new theory of the Tattvas – which I have entitled Saptantattva (“The Seven Elements”). I include this because it has been colouring my outlook on magic recently.
Both these pieces can be accessed from the Articles page of this website.

A preview of the artwork for my forthcoming book, Licence To Depart, can now be glimpsed at my website.
Also, as it appears to be Satanism week over at the Daily Telegraph, I thought that Journalists might be after a pundit to talk knowledgeably about the dangers of
Exorcism*cough* I mean Demonic Possession. With this in mind I have re-vamped the Press page.Leave a Comment
